SSC Result 2026 Rescrutiny Rules: How to Apply Online (11–17 August)

Boards have opened the online rescrutiny (board challenge) process for SSC Result 2026. If a subject grade looks wrong, here's the complete, official step-by-step process — and it's different from the older SMS-only method many people still expect.

Application Window

11 August 2026 to 17 August 2026. Applications outside this window will not be accepted.

Step-by-Step: How to Apply for Rescrutiny

1. Visit rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd. Enter your Roll number and Registration number in the designated fields, then select your board from the dropdown menu. Click Submit.
2. Enter your mobile number. This is the number that will receive an SMS once your rescrutiny result is published — double-check it before proceeding.
3. On the next screen, you'll see your subject-wise results. Select the subject(s) you want re-checked, then click "Pay Fee".
4. The fee is Tk 150 per paper. For subjects with two papers (like Bangla or English), you must apply for rescrutiny of both papers together — you can't select just one.
5. The next screen shows your total fee. Pay using bKash, Nagad, Sonali Seba, DBBL Rocket, or a Teletalk mobile SIM. Detailed payment steps for each method are available via the "Help" button on the portal.
6. After paying, return to the application portal and click "Submit" to finalize.

Adding More Subjects Later

If you've already paid and submitted, and want to add more subjects afterward, you can do so the same way — you won't need to re-enter your mobile number again.

Changing Your Selection Before Paying

If you need to change or correct your application before paying the fee, click the "Delete" button to remove selected subjects that haven't been paid for yet, then reselect the correct ones.

Important: Once the fee is submitted for a subject, that selection cannot be cancelled, and the fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Review your subject selection carefully before paying.

No Manual Applications

The notice explicitly states that no manual or hand-submitted applications will be accepted — the online portal is the only valid method this year.
